The commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the designation of the Camino de Santiago as the First European Cultural Itinerary by the Councils of Europe begins in Santiago de Compostela on Monday, October 23, 1987. Among the activities scheduled for next week is the presentation of the Camino de Santiago Prizes in recognition of the work of various institutions, companies and associations around the routes of Santiago, as well as the meetings of the Technical Committee of the European Federation of the Way of Santiago and the Executive Committee of the Jacobean Council.
