Un peregrino en el Camino de Santiago

The Camino de Santiago is one of the most important tourist attractions in Spain, so the main routes, such as the French Way, the North Way, or the Portuguese Way pass. The different communities know very well, in Asturias, one of the most benefited by the arrival of miles of tourists.

The autonomous community could make an important investment in the Camino de Santiago that, of course, hopes to recover through its fruits. Nicanor García, Citizen at the General Meeting of the Principality of Asturias' Deputy, has announced that his party will request a game of 500,000 euros to improve the Camino. They will do so in upcoming regional budgets, as their group believes that the potential of the Way in the community is undervalued.

We must remember that Asturias travels three routes: the French, the Primitivo and the coast. Among other improvements, Citizens expect with this budget the improvement and construction of shelters, improvements in signage, conditioning, and promotion of the Primitive Road.
