This Wednesday, January 11, at 10:40 p.m. Arrives at La 1 de Televisión Española and TVG the first chapter of 'El final del camino', the series of historical setting co-produced by TVE and Voz Audiovisual that some already dare to qualify as "a Game of Thrones to the Spanish."
'El final del camino', directed by Miguel Alcantud, takes us to the years in which the first stones were placed in the construction of the Cathedral of Santiago, a medieval age really convulsed in the Iberian Peninsula, with innumerable struggles between the kingdoms Christians and the Almoravids, but at the same time carried out by personages of great historical relevance, like Alfonso VI, Constanza of Burgundy or Diego Peláez. Although the real protagonists of 'El final del camino' are three brothers (who never really existed) whose destinies since childhood already take totally different paths.
Esteban, Gonzalo and Pedro, the brothers Catoira, live a Saracen invasion being children that robs them to their parents, being also Pedro kidnapped by the Muslims. Esteban and Gonzalo move to Santiago, where the latter will become apprentice builder of the cathedral and the first in Christian soldier; For his part, Peter will follow a parallel path serving the Almoravid cause. This is precisely the starting point of this season, which will consist of 8 chapters, and which has been set in indoor and outdoor locations throughout Galicia.
