The easiest way to return from Finisterre to other places of pilgrim origin is via Santiago (98 kilometres away) or A Coruña (108 kilometres). These two capitals have an airport and good train connections. From Finisterre it is possible to reach Santiago by bus. The company that covers this journey is Monobús, with five services running daily from Monday to Friday.
There are fewer services at the weekend, with four on Saturdays and three on Sundays. It is worthwhile noting that the last bus departs from Finisterre at 19:00 hours and, that the journey takes a long time, two hours and in most cases via the motorway.
Correos offers a delivery backpacks service so you can walk without loads and enjoy the routes and stages. You can also purchase a packaging and shipment of bicycles service. The price is 42,03 euros (VAT included, shipping to mainland Spain). This is available in all offices.
The taxi rank of Finisterre is situated close to the port, on Calle Catalina. Pilgrims wanting to return to their place of origin can call Basilio Domínguez, the phone numbers are (+34) 981743500 / (+34) 636354367. This taxi driver offers national and international transport and a towing service.
