Laracha already has its fifth cycling club, Moito Pedal

The Council of A Laracha have excel in recent years, due to its involvement in sport and, specifically, with cycling. Its various cycling clubs are involved in BTT sports and promotional events of the town, in addition to popular holidays like the Bicycle Day. Without going any further, the council has one of the best Galician routes for cycling, about 40 kilometers.

So far the town of just over 11,500 inhabitants, had 4 cycling clubs: Club Ciclista Laracha, Club Laracha in Dúas Rodas, Club Ciclista Down Hill y De Ves en Cando de Caión. Now has added a fifth club, but so far has no statutes, it begins to organize itself and to raise sporting and / or recreational, Moito Pedal. The idea of forming this new cycling club came from a group of friends more than a year ago, attending cycling activities, but they understood that they had to go a step further.

Some of the organized activities of the club, which currently has about thirty members, last Easter completed the Camino de Santiago from Astorga. The pilgrimage route remains his goal for the next great adventure, because they hope to reach Fisterra from Santiago, but so far no date.

Meanwhile, Moito Pedal continues to organize regular routes, recently one of 30 kilometers in the vicinity of Santa Margarida, in which everyone can participate.
