Celebrated last weekend at the Royal Monastery of San Zoilo of Carrión de los Condes, the 1st edition of Jacobean Book Fair has been a success in attendance. In addition, the event has served to present the book "Andando versos por Carrión...y otros poemas" ("Walking verses by Carrión ... and other poems") by its author, Jesus Luis Pérez Sánchez, in the Jacobean Library. This is the fourth book in the collection Iacobus published by the Association of Friends of the Camino de Santiago of Palencia.

The Jacobean Library has confirmed that more than 300 people have visited the first edition of the fair organized with the collaboration of the Castilla y León Council, Palencia Council and the Xunta de Galicia. The event was also supportive, since the donated books had a symbolic price of between one and seven euros. The benefits went to the Red Cross.

"We thank all those who are visiting this weekend, and say we are very happy about the great success that is having this Book Fair that we have organized" commented responsible for the Jacobean Library.
