The mayor of the town of Sarria has recently issued a municipal provision which reminds business owners to comply with the rules of Heritage about advertising and signage on the Camino de Santiago. The statement appears after successive cases of unauthorized advertising on the Camino de Santiago passes through this municipality, trying to grab the attention of the pilgrims, which according to the mayor Pilar Lopez, violates the spirit of the Jacobean Route, "making in a shop window.
