Anyone who makes the Primitive Way in the direction of Santiago de Compostela, can enjoy stunning views of the Navia River, in a section near the Asturian town of Grandas de Salime. The panoramic view offered by this place means that many of the pilgrims who pass through this route cannot resist taking a picture.

After completing all the stages that lead to Santiago, many pilgrims choose to complete the Camino a Finisterre. Finisterre is the westernmost point of continental Europe, and any pilgrim who travels the route there will discover the unique landscape that shows the immensity of the Atlantic Ocean.

Touring the French Way, near the town of Castrojeriz in the province of Burgos we find the High of Mostelares. In the province of Lugo, there is the parish of O Cebreiro, located in the municipality of Piedrafita del Cebreiro and 152 km away from Santiago de Compostela. From its 1330 km altitude, the pilgrims who cross the French Way can observe from another perspective the stages passed days before and admire the landscape in which lands of Castile and Leon are mixed, and of the Galician community.

Between the towns of Foncebadón and Manjarín, is one of the most famous cruises within the French Way. La Cruz de Hierro, or Cruz de Ferro in Galician, is a 5 meter high cruise ship with an iron cross on its top. This cross is a replica of the original which is in the Museum of the Ways of Astorga.

In the stage Pamplona - Puente La Reina within the French route is one of the best known places, the Alto del Perdón. From Alto del Perdón, located 770 meters high, we can find the Pilgrim Monument, created by the artist Vicente Galbete. This monument is composed of a group of sculptures in real-size sheet metal that represents pilgrims at different times.
