Group ASPNAIS

A group of about 32 people ASPNAIS, the Association of Parents and Guardians of Persons with Intellectual Disability Lugo recently arrived in Santiago de Compostela after completing some of the Camino de Santiago routes. Upon arrival in the Galician capital waiting for the director general of the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities, Coro Piñeiro. These 32 people chose one of the least saturated routes today, but over the years has gained a lot of impact, the Camino Primitivo.

ASPNAIS was established as a private non-profit and legal personality. It was declared of public interest on 9 September 1996. The mission of the association is "to contribute, from our ethical commitment, with support and opportunities, each person with intellectual or developmental disabilities and their families to develop their quality project of life and promote inclusion as full citizens. "
