It's been a couple of months we are online, but since the administration had not yet you welcomed this new social network, as we were waiting for you inundaseis the platform with your comments and pictures. In this news presentation we want to answer two simple questions: why and how.

First we want to explain why Vive Camino born. It is a matter of passion for our land, Galicia. And from our point of view the Camino de Santiago is a wonderful way to experience this magical community. Cross it is to discover its landscapes, its cuisine, its people ... immerse yourself in an atmosphere of magic that begins in Galicia and extends to all the places that bathes the pilgrimage route.

The Way is a way of giving a piece of Galicia to the rest of Spain, and even to other countries, and a way Galicia nurtures the culture of distant and wonderful places.

Surely you can find all this cultural miscegenation between the content we have published and will continue to improve and update. We barias published routes soon to be updated, and we are reviewing data from more than 2,000 points of interest. But to meet these goals would not be necessary to create a social network. The road is also experience. Who does the way grow as a person, some say that there is again the same, and always returns home with sack full of experiences and friends.

Those who have done the way we know the environment we live in a shelter, sensations when crossed with other walkers at one stage, and companionship that grows the more difficult route (eg in winter) is made. In this network we want to take, if only 10% of that experience, the virtual world to sensations so wonderful to feel them users around the world, do or not do the way.

So your experience, your experience on the road, or your desire and enthusiasm, will certainly do our best content. This brings us to how. In what way will we get such wonderful sensations transmitted through a web or a PPP? That certainly will be in your hands.

From Vive Camino we have created a complete social network with comments, upload images, create galleries, organizing groups and forums. All these tools are at your disposal to make your experience on the road, your desire to do it or your love for your land (and here not only be Galicia, but anywhere you step on a pilgrim) become something momentous for other users.  

Vive Camino will give the media, but leave a mark on others depends on you. Of course we are working on more options. In our application for IOS and Android, for example, it is now available under "Plan your route", a system for organizing the trip easily and quickly. Our development team is working on other utilities which aims to make the easy way and allow your experience to reach more people.

Therefore from Vive Camino we come before you with a sack full of desire to work and new ideas, but that needs to be filled with your personal experience. We hope that your trust in us to be your traveling companion, a trip you always will accompany thousands of users.
