¡Buen camino! is the new TV show of RTVE on the Camino de Santiago this summer

The documentary show will discover us every week new stories related to the Jacobean route and the pilgrims that cross it

RTVE debuts this Thursday, July 13 ¡Buen camino!, a new docu-show of its own production that will accompany up to 60 pilgrims during their trip along the Camino de Santiago, giving their personal stories and motivations. The production of the program, of weekly character, is in charge of Lavinia Audiovisual and will have Marta Márquez as conductor. The presenter will tour the last stages of the French Way (one per program), from Villafranca del Bierzo to Santiago de Compostela and Finisterre, also touring localities such as O Cebreiro, Triacastela, Samos, Sarria, Portomarín, Melide, Arzúa and Monte do Gozo.

According to RTVE, the intention of the weekly program is to convey to the viewer not only the "anecdote, the incidents of the journey, the dissemination background or the entertainment", but go further, showing "the inner journey" of pilgrims from countries as diverse as Japan, India, Bahamas, Congo or the United States. ¡Buen camino! will occupy the late-night time zone, starting its broadcast this Thursday at 00:25 and betting on a visually very careful format.
