El final del camino, the historical TV series that reaches TVE and TVG in 2017

Very soon there will come to the nights of La 1 a new historical series of which we have already spoken to you on other occasions in ViveCamino, 'El final del camino', an ambitious bet by the historical and adventure genre on the part of TVE and Voz Audiovisual, The producer, with whom TVG also participates. The series, which mixes dyes of comedy, romance, intrigue and adventures, takes place with the construction of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, when the city was nothing more than a village and the first days of the Camino de Santiago as a backdrop, in addition Of the clashes between the Christian and Muslim kingdoms in the Iberian Peninsula.

'El final del camino', directed by Miguel Alcantud, Miguel Conde and Óscar Pedraza, contains an important touch of fiction, with some protagonist characters that never really existed, such as Gonzalo de Catoira (whom Antonio Velázquez gives life to), The guard of the bishop of Santiago Diego Peláez; His brother, Pedro de Catoira (Javier Rey), an Almoravid soldier and Gonzalo's wife, Elvira (Begoña Maestre), the physician's assistant.
