Security forces reinforce surveillance in the road during the summer months

Begins to get the good summer weather and with it, the influx of much more public in tourist areas of our country, including Galicia and the Camino de Santiago. Therefore, monitoring of the different routes of the Way must grow in proportion to the number of hikers walking. The state has refused to reveal the number of troops available for security reasons.

Under the collaboration agreement between the central government and the regional government, the state security forces to increase surveillance on different routes of Camino de Santiago this summer, specifically between 15 June to 15 September.
