An interactive documentary narrates the journey of 108 kilometers of a group of people with Parkinson, trying to raise awareness about the disease
Although Parkinson's disease affects more than 150,000 people in Spain, even today it is still stigmatized by a part of society, something that from the associations related to this disease fight to fight. Precisely to seek this general awareness comes the project 'Que tiemble el Camino', an interactive documentary fruit of the collaboration between the Spanish Association of Parkinson and Radio Televisión Española and Barret Cooperativa Valenciana, which co-produce it.
'Trembling the Way' tells us the day-to-day life of a group of patients from Parchment in their preparation for a year to launch the Camino de Santiago, while showing the viewer multiple aspects of the lives of these people and the challenges to the Which they have to face, in addition to testimonials from professionals. The webdocumental, featuring 15 pilgrims who will face 6 stages, is enriched with a multitude of explanatory and informative content in the form of videos and documents with which the viewer can interact to learn more about this neurodegenerative disease and understand the important role of The associations.
The webdocumental also includes different mini-games for the viewer to understand how to interact with some of the limitations that these patients face each day and that they have to face in their preparation for the Way. The project 'Que tiemble el Camino' is part of the Webdocs Factor of the Audiovisual Innovation Laboratory of RTVE, a commitment to new narrative formats.
