The International Committee of Experts on the pilgrimage route to Santiago met during yesterday to confirm and organize the realization of a congress of experts Camino in Santiago to be held next year in the Galician capital Santiago de Compostela, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the route as the first European Cultural route. A conference which is expected to involve dozens of international experts and scholars of the Camino de Santiago, in addition to the authorities of municipalities and cities with Santiago as pattern, where the figure of the Apostle as the patron and the increase will be treated their worship in the American countries.
The interest in everything related to the Camino de Santiago has grown significantly in many American countries in recent years. Although so far not confirmed a date of accurate realization it is expected that this meeting of experts is made next month of September 2017, where the participation of American countries will be key, but will only be one of the topics . In this event also researchers will be given scholarships.
