The new edition of the golf tournament, this time located outside Galicia, gathered a total of 160 players.
If you are passionate about golf and the Camino de Santiago is on your to-do list for this year, congratulations, you can combine both tasks without any problem thanks to the Ninth Circuit Golf Edition.
The first test, which took place last weekend at the Royal New Basozabal Golf Club of San Sebastian, brought to nothing more and nothing less than 160 amateur participants, of which 99 were over 50 years.Among the winners, Marta Vazquez and Joseba Ubarretxena - 68 points - with Enrique Marcello and Marina Petrirena - they achieved 76 points - got their pass to the final which will take place on September 17 in the RAC of Santiago. Meanwhile, Ana Vilar and Jesus Ruiz picked up the Galicia Tourism Award for Best Senior Couple.
The next test will be held on May 7 in La Toja. Circuit like the outside Galicia released a few days ago, expects to continue adding participants.
