The mistery is solved: the whereabouts of the Camino's ancient cairns are discovered

With the new signaling of the Camino de Santiago, especially the French Way, the regional government withdrew lot of old signs that probably were less clear and confusing. However, between signaling withdrawing large and heavy kilometric ancient cairns, placed in 1986 by the Council of Lugo were. However, one of the biggest mysteries that kept the regional government with respect to these ancient cairns, was its location after being removed and changed by the new signals. The mystery has been revealed: about 200 of these markers are stored in a farm of the council at the site of Begonte. They were designed at the time by Antonio González Trigo and placed in more than 90 kilometers of the French Way in Lugo - were later copied by the Delegation of Coruña.
