The works in the church A Peregrina are completed

Focusing primarily on the restoration of the magnificent bell tower of the church, dating from 1795 by the engravings of its facade

A Peregrina church, located in the parish of Santa María of A Peregrina and belonging to the Council of Santiago de Compostela, has recently completed its restoration and maintenance. Focusing primarily on the restoration of the magnificent church bell tower, the building suffered major water entry problems that have already been resolved.

The church located in Compostela dates from 1795 by the engravings of its facade. Pablo Tomé, architect in charge of the repair, explained that in addition to cleaning the bell tower, the grouts deteriorated have been renovated allowing the passage of rain water. The works also focused on the north skirt and the roof of the dome of the cruise. The tiles of said parts of the roof were damaged, so a lot of them has been changed. Among other works, some windows were also repaired.

The work was completed with a total budget of 32,031 euros.
