The regional government of La Xunta, specifically the Ministry of Environment, will invest more than 113,000 euros on condition the Suavila road, a road located in Triacastela. Municipally owned, the route is important for many pilgrims because it runs parallel to the Camino de Santiago and also joins several points of interest of the town. It is an extremely busy route for those doing the Camino de Santiago, because it links the town hall, church and the public hostel.
With this investment the Suavila way will become a semi-urban ride, finished in rough concrete and an average width of four meters. The works will take place in 2016, with completion within 4 months.
