Traditional music, this Friday in the San Martin Church from Hecho

It is part of the 25th edition of the International Festival of the Camino de Santiago in the province of Huesca

The 25th edition of the International Festival of the Camino de Santiago arrives this Friday to the Valley of Hecho and, specifically, to the church of San Martin de Hecho. This annual celebration is held this year between 4 and 28 August in the province of Huesca, with the completion of a series of events such as music concert, theater and medieval markets.

Luis Delgado, Maria Jose Hernandez and Joaquin Pardinilla will act today, presenting their work 'Memento Vivere' (Remember to live), where you can hear great traditional and medieval melodies, but with a modern twist. The medieval instruments such as the hurdy gurdy, will mix with a more modern sound with new sound systems.

This is a repertoire of medieval songs collected from a myriad of sources, from the Codex Calixtinus of Santiago de Compostela or the epic classic songs, even the Cantigas of Alfonso X.
