A CD of Gregorian chant on the Camino de Santiago recorded by the monks of Silos

The monks of Silos have recorded a double CD that includes some of the most important issues of the past centuries related to the Camino de Santiago

The Abbey of Santo Domingo de Silos is one of the most important abbeys of our country, whose original construction (different from today) dates back to the Visigoth period. Located in the town of Santo Domingo de Silos, in the province of Burgos, Abbey Castile and Leon is the residence of a group of monks who now published a new CD with Gregorian chants.

The monks of Silos have recorded a double CD that includes some of the most important issues of the past centuries related to the Camino de Santiago and the pilgrimage. The album will be in stores this week distributed by Warner Classics label.The first CD includes recordings related to the Codex Calixtinus and the manuscript Antifonario Mozárabe also completed with Mozarabic chants. The second CD includes well-known works of Gregorian chant.
