Leon will honor the traditions and folklore of the French Way

This Sunday León is celebrates in the auditorium of the city the Second Meeting of Ethnography and Folklore City of Leon

León is a province historically linked to the French Way, which crosses from east to west, so both the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela as the figure of the pilgrim are linked to the city inseparably. French Way is precisely the protagonist of the Second Meeting of Ethnography and Folklore City of Leon, held on Sunday 2 October at 19.30 in the Auditorio Ciudad de León.

The Colectivo de Folklore Leonés will be responsible for carrying all the weight of the event through 'La tradición y folclore en el Camino de Santiago Leonés'. This is a display of dance, music and traditional costumes on the Camino de Santiago as it passes through regions of the province as Sahagún and Tierra de Campos, Tierras de León, Maragatería or Bierzo, through which attendees they may go back many centuries back in history.
