The most common way to reach and leave Belorado by road is via Burgos, 40 kilometres away. These two enclaves are connected by the N-120. Another option is to go through Logrono, on the N-120 and the A-12. From Bilbao, continue the AP-68 to Haro, where travellers should take the N-120. The easiest way to arrive from Madrid is via Burgos.
The bus company Jimenez (947266930 | 947580050) has a fleet of seven buses that run daily and cover Belorado-Burgos and vice versa. On Sundays and bank holidays they are less frequent. The same company also covers Belorado-Logroño with several buses a day. Consult timetables. The price per journey is 3.24 euros. PLM Autocars (902144174) connects, on a daily basis Pamplona to Madrid with stops in Logroño and Belorado.
The bus from Pamplona to Madrid stops in Belorado at 09:35 and 18:35. The bus from Madrid to Pamplona stops in Belorado at 10:10 and 18:10. Unión Alavesa (944271111) covers the route Bilbao-Belorado and Belorado-Bilbao with two buses per day. Consult timetables.
Correos offers a delivery backpacks service so you can walk without loads and enjoy the routes and stages. You can also purchase a packaging and shipment of bicycles service. The price is 42,03 euros (VAT included, shipping to mainland Spain). This is available in all offices.

The section between Logroño and Burgos is attended by; phone 636 099 299. The normal procedure for those sleeping in public hostels, and thus unable to reserve a place at their next accommodation until their time of arrival-is to allocate a bar or another destination point where they can collect their luggage.
For those staying in private hostels or hotels, their backpack will be waiting for them at their next accommodation. In both cases the pilgrims should call in advance because the service vehicles with backpacks usually begin delivering before 0900 hours. By noon, they are already at their destination.
Another company that also covers the entire route is Camino Facil. The procedure is identical to that of Jacotrans. Walkers should call or email the day before to have everything planned. Backpacks are delivered to their destination by lunchtime. The rates are from 7 euros although, prices may vary depending on the number of people and the number of stages covered (for cyclists), the price may be higher.
