This urban centre has several establishments, some of which are situated at the edge of national road 642, through which the Jacobean itinerary runs consequently walkers will not need to deviate from path to find bars and cafes such as, Xala (Avenida Naturais, 9); Cafe Lembranza (Avenida Naturais, next to a milestone) and, bar Roiben (Avenida Naturais, 25), open from 7.30 am. In front of the town hall, through which the Camino passes, there are also bars and bakeries.

For lunch, for around 10 euros, most of the restaurants offer a menu of the day, like Mundial and Cantábrico, both located on the Avenida de As Pías, a short distance from the route.
