Gijón’s Plaza Mayor, located in the old fishing district known as Cimavilla, is a vibrant public space brimming with history, charm and life. It’s one of the most visited places in the city, and once you delve into its cobbled streets and experience its welcoming atmosphere, it’s easy to understand why.

The square, rectangular in shape and surrounded by beautiful period buildings with wrought iron balconies, is an emblematic place in Gijón. Its architecture stands out for its colorful three-story houses that provide a unique and distinctive character to the environment.
