Located in the town of Mañón, Estaca de Bares is one of the most beautiful areas of the entire north coast of Galicia. It is an elevation of land that is considered the northernmost point of the entire Iberian Peninsula and from where the most rugged coastline of the Spanish coast begins until it reaches the border with Portugal.

In addition to its natural beauty, Estaca de Bares is known for being a natural border. This land divides the waters of the Cantabrian Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, offering a unique panoramic view of both. It is in this same area where you can also enjoy a lighthouse, in addition to the great variety of migratory birds that continue their journey depending on the season of the year in which we are.
Anyone who wants to follow the Camino de Santiago without missing the incredible panoramic views of the coast of northern Galicia, can do so through the Camiño do mar. This route starts in the town of Ribadeo, in Lugosa, and merges with the English Way when arriving in Ferrol, after passing through the different towns that make up the northern part of the Galician community.
