The works, carried out as part of Actívate program included a comprehensive review of the signaling Camino de Santiago in Ribadedeva
The municipality of Ribadedeva of the autonomous community of Asturias, has recently confirmed the completion of various works which aims to put the stretch of the Camino de Santiago passing through the town, the easternmost town in the Principality.
Conditioning work for the town has seriously relied on the opinions of the pilgrims, in order to make the path more accessible, pleasant and easy.The works, carried out as part of Actívate program included a comprehensive review of the signaling Camino de Santiago in Ribadedeva, eliminating signals that in the past have proven to be unclear and confusing for those trying to follow the correct path.
There has also been removing some billboards along the road, cleaned and conditioned rest areas or of interest include Chapel Cantu.
