Embarcadero de Ponte do Sil

In the heart of the Ribeira Sacra in the municipality of Monforte de Lemos, we find the pier of Ponte do Sil. This is located in the middle of the river Sil, one of the most important rivers in the Galician community, right where, thanks to its natural border, the province of Lugo ends to give way to the province of Ourense. 

Located in the heart of the Sil canyons, from this pier you can enjoy a quiet catamaran trip and sail the waters of this important river. Only by making a similar journey, you can witness the incredible panoramic view that the Ribeira Sacra offers and get to know the dizzying slopes covered with large vineyards, typical of this area.

Just opposite the pier of Ponte do Sil we find the pier of Abeleda, already within the province of Ourense. Although each one is located on a different bank of the Sil, you can pass from one side to the other, thanks to the small bridge located in the same place. Other things you can also find at the pier of Ponte do Sil are parking and cafeteria so that anyone can access the catamarans without any problem.
