Embarcadero de Santo Estevo de Ribas de Sil

There are many piers that can be found along the Ribeira Sacra, such as the pier of Santo Estevo deRibas de Sil. This small pier is located in the town of Noguiera de Ramuín, in the province of Ourense, and is the point from which many tourists begin their journey to know in depth the Sil Canyons.
While the views from this pier are already impressive, from its two jetties depart several river routes to discover this part of the Ribeira Sacra from the inside. It is from this same point that you can perform various water activities, a different and fun way to discover the waters of the river Sil.
In addition to the marshes from which hundreds of tourists depart every year to discover the Ribeira Sacra, at the pier of Santo Estevo de Ribas de Sil we find other leisure areas that make our stay more pleasant. It is very easy to get there by car thanks to its parking lot, and then enjoy the views in its cafeteria.
If the Ribeira Sacra is a unique place and increasingly popular among tourists from all over the world, it is thanks to places like this pier that allow us to know jewels of natural origin such as the Sil Canyons. It is for this reason that more and more pilgrims choose the Camino de Invierno as their Jacobean route, thus merging two of the most important points of Galicia.
