New shelter for pilgrims in Jaen

To build this shelter an old house with more than 100 years which is just along the road is restored

The Camino de Santiago pilgrims starting their trek from the south now have, in Jaen, a new place to rest at the end of the hard days. It is in the municipality of Alcaudete, a must for pilgrims from Almería, Granada and Jaen places step.The Jacobean Jaén Association confirms that the municipality will, in short, with a shelter for pilgrims.

A sought need for the neighbors because of the sharp increase of pilgrims who, in recent years, have gone through Alcaudete en route to Santiago de Compostela.To build this shelter, an old house with over 100 years which is right along the road, particularly in the lower Alcaudete Castle will be restored. The work, already underway, will end in a few weeks. The lodge can accommodate the order of 6 to 10 pilgrims over time.
