Physiotherapy students treat pilgrims on the Camino in four shelters in Navarre

If you are doing these weeks the Camino de Santiago in its passage through Navarre and you stop at one of the hostels there, you may find a pleasant surprise, especially if you've left your legs in a hard stage. The reason is that during these weeks four students of physiotherapy in the Public University of Navarra are treating walkers in four shelters.

This initiative, part of the summer course of the UPNA "Other ways to know and enjoy the Camino de Santiago" has displaced students Clara Fernandez de Casadevante, Ainhoa Hernandez, Ainhoa Maguregui and Maider Ocerin to four hostels in Orreaga / Roncesvalles, Municipal Pilgrim Hospital of Estella, Jesús y María hostel in Pamplona and the House of Culture of Sanguesa. In these accommodations students attend the pilgrims in the afternoon from August 16 until Tuesday 23, further providing advice to walkers.

But the monograph of the UPNA is not only in these practices, it also extends to everyone interested in the Camino de Santiago in its passage through Navarre. It will do so with up to 17 informative talks from next August 29 to September 8 in the villages of Auritz / Burguete, Estella, Pamplona and Sangüesa.
