The Stages of Ribeira

By car: The easiest way is by the road of Padron. From this location it is necessary to continue on the AG-11 until the end (around 40 kilometres) until reaching the round about and end of the road. Once there the access to Ribeira is well sign posted (third exit).

By bus: The company Arriva has a fleet of around 20 buses per day that connect the Galician capital to Ribeira from early in the day. They depart from the bus station of the capital. The journey time depends upon the stops but takes roughly between one and two hours.

Some services run more directly, for this reason it is worth checking with the company prior to travelling. The tariff is 7,45 euros. By train: It is not possible to reach Ribeira by train. The nearest railway station is in Padron, 40 kilometres from the town.

Correos offers a delivery backpacks service so you can walk without loads and enjoy the routes and stages. You can also purchase a packaging and shipment of bicycles service. The price is 42,03 euros (VAT included, shipping to mainland Spain). This is available in all offices.
