This small town, crossed by the N -120, it has been converted into an end stage for many pilgrims, being an ideal stop between Leon and Astorga.
For this reason, despite its small size it has three albergues. Both the chemist and the health centre are located in Santa Marina del Rey, the head of the town council. However, in San Martin pilgrims will find a grocery shop and a bakery, as well as resting areas with fountains.
If you are traveling on the Camino de Santiago or are planning to do so soon, you should know that the distance separating San Martín del Camino from Santiago de Compostela is 284 kilometers.
