The Plaza de la Constitución, located in the heart of the old town of San Sebastián  It is one of the most emblematic and crowded places in the city. One of the most notable was its function as a bullring, which explains the numbers that can still be seen on the windows of the buildings that surround the plaza; numbers indicating the boxes from where the bullfight could be witnessed. 

Speaking of the design of the square, it follows a neoclassical style. The building of the old town hall stands out, with its imposing façade and its characteristic clock. The surrounding buildings, with their balconies and the already mentioned numbers give the square a particular aspect. The square is one of the busiest places in the city throughout the year. Surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops, it is the perfect place to enjoy a pintxo, a drink or simply to watch people come and go. 

The building that stands out the most in the square is the old town hall whose façade and clock have witnessed all kinds of events over the years. Not only has it hosted bullfights, but it has also been the epicenter of essential festivities for the people of San Sebastian.
