A look great at Camino de Santiago in Aviles

Lovers Camino de Santiago have these days, especially if visiting northern Spain this week, a must in the city of Aviles, located in the Principality of Asturias. From Wednesday November 2nd you can enjoy in the city, in the Museum of Avilés Urban History, a sample of large number of photographs related to the Jacobean routes.

They are photographs taken by professional photographer and avilesino Felix Gonzalez Muniz, focused on the Camino de Santiago on the coast, and being titled the exhibition as "Asturian Views from the Way." They are thirty images, besides being taken in the way, they show the soul of the land and the people surrounding the pilgrimage route. Of course, the pilgrims are an important part of many of the photographs. In the exhibition, besides the images, we see texts Professor of Sciences and Techniques of the University of Oviedo -experta on the Camino de Santiago, Maria Josefa Sanz, accompanying snapshots.
