The Jacobean Council will work to curb fraud in the Way

The unification of the signals intended to win pilgrims on information and know exactly when they are lost or follow an unofficial route

The Jacobean Council, an organization that facilitates communication between the central government and the autonomous communities that are part of the Camino de Santiago, met yesterday to assess the proposal of Castile and Leon on the road signage; there will be unification of signals to give greater weight to the officers, and thus avoid confusion and fraud on the routes.The unification of the signals intended to win pilgrims on information and know exactly when they are lost or when the confused signaling may be the result of the picaresque of some citizens.

Signaling environment unify the French route and alternative routes, why the meeting was attended by representatives of the Basque Country, Navarra, Castilla y León, La Rioja, Aragon and Galicia.Of course, by the time the Junta de Castilla y Leon and the Jacobean Council propose not change all the current signs, but the new guidelines meet some official basic parameters such as types, media, formats and location.
