The surrounding area of Miño allows travellers to enjoy a deserved rest on one of its beaches or in its green areas.
As a sea town, Miño celebrates the fiestas of Carmen, on the 16th of July, however its main celebration is in honour of San Pedro, this fiesta takes place during the last week of June and, in the first week of July. In mid August the gastronomy festivities of the onion are held, a typical product of this area.
Every Sunday they hold a market fair where it is possible to purchase fresh local fruit and vegetables, bread, clothes and local crafts.
Located just outside the town are the beaches Grande de Miño (the busiest and largest beach in the area) and, A Ribeira (smaller), also that of the Alameda is situated at the mouth of the Lambre.
