Here pilgrims will have no problems in finding food supplies, although during winter months several establishments close. During peak pilgrim times an advantage for walkers and, worth bearing in mind, is that those pilgrims arriving at lunchtime or even during the afternoon always have the possibility of going to a grocery shop on the Calle Real where they will prepare a snack for them.
In the centre most of the restaurants have a pilgrim's menu and on the menu they normally offer typical dishes from Bierzo. This enclave is also famous for its numerous wineries, serving wine and snacks. Among them, one of the best known is that of Cañas, located in the Plaza Mayor. See the recommended restaurants
