Exhibition on the Camino de Santiago in the Museum of Culture of Milan

Followers of the Way of St. James can see, until next May 29, an exhibition of 70 photographs on the Camino de Santiago in the famous Museum of Culture of Milan. The exhibition, promoted by Turismo de Galicia in collaboration with the Tourist Office of Spain in Milan, aims to promote tourism in our country through the internationally known Camino de Santiago, especially in the northern regions of Italy.

The 70 images of the sample - 50 portraits and 20 landscapes - were taken by an Italian pilgrim named Tommaso Pini, a Tuscan photojournalist, who focused on capturing the essence of the Way in different ways until his arrival in Compostela, with over 800 kilometers behind their backs. Each image, therefore, has a meaning and a story in this exhibition. Therefore, each of which is associated with a QR code that can be read with our mobile phone and access a blog in which the story of that picture is specified.

The exhibition comes to Milan after passing through Turin, and after 29 May can be enjoyed in other cities like Bologna. The exhibition in Italy is no coincidence; it is one of the most important markets for the Camino de Santiago. In 2015 Italy was the country that brought pilgrims to the Way.
