Najera occupies a central position on the Camino of Santiago in La Rioja, 27.5 kilometres from Logroño. Those pilgrims who want to begin their journey to Santiago from here should ideally travel to Logroño (a city with rail and airport connections) and from there they can reach the town by bus.

The opposite case would apply to those who want to make a stop in Nájera and return to their place of origin. They should travel to Logroño by bus. The two companies that cover this route, which does not exceed 25 minutes in travel time, are Autobuses Jimenez and Riojacar. From Monday to Friday there are frequent buses between both locations throughout the day from 07.15 until 21.00. On Saturdays they maintain a good number of services and only on Sundays and bank holidays are travel services reduced.
