The Camino of Santiago penetrates the Heart of Palas de Rei and, at the very foot of the Camino walkers will find bars and cafes where they can enjoy a good breakfast without deviating from the route. In addition, many of them open early in the day. On Rúa Agro do Rolo there is the Café Avenida, nearby is The Cafe Bar Santirso (Cruzeiro, 10) it is not the earliest of riser, but all their coffees are served with the addition of a small croissant.  

For lunch

Meson da Ulloa and the restaurant Vilariño are situated on Avenida de Compostela. In both of these places walkers can enjoy excellent home cooked food at a great price. The establishment Bodegón 99, in Agro do Rolo, is a great classic they serve traditional dishes and economic Menus for pilgrims. El Santirso also opens at lunchtime, offering sandwiches and snacks. Here pilgrims can enjoy a tapa while playing a game of table football. For Fast Food there is the Pizzeria Pardillas (Avenida de Lugo, 46) and the burger bar Xaniño (Calle Eduardo Seixas).
