Given that Santo Domingo is a town that lives for the pilgrimage route, hikers will have no trouble finding a place to eat or drink. Several bars, both on the Calle Mayor and in the surrounding area offer breakfasts from early in the morning. Two examples are the café El Camino, located on Avenida Juan Carlos I, which opens at 07:30 hours, and the bar La Cathedral, open from 06.00 hours on Calle Hermosilla. For lunch there are several options in the monumental area. Almost all offer a pilgrim menu with prices ranging between 10 and 12 euros. One of the most recommended restaurants is Arcaya.
