Despite Viana not being an end stage on many Camino guides, a large number of pilgrims prefer to escape the big cities (For example; Logroño) and stay overnight in charming small towns.

Consequently there is a good range of accommodation available. In the centre there are three albergues and in the case that they are full the council provides a pavilion to accommodate visitors.

Alternative accommodation includes, apartments, three star hotels, but without excessive prices, hostels and guesthouses are other accommodation possibilities.
