Zubiri - Taberna Baserri

Zubiri is a small centre and does not offer a vast amount of services. However, it is possible to have breakfast first thing in the morning. In this enclave walkers will find the establishments Bar Baserri, Bar Valentín (excellent bruschetta), Gau Txori and a Sports Bar. One of the most popular products of Navarra is chistorra (A thin and spicy sausage, similar to chipolata). Experts claim that the chistorra of Zubiri is the best.

Another typical dish is relleno; a type of lamb black pudding but blood is replaced by egg. The sausage meat company Embutidos Arrieta obtains awards for the quality of its produce year after year. The hostel Gau Txori is another safe bet and offers a menu of the day.
