The Stages of Baamonde

As a starting and ending stage Baamonde is one of the best points on the Northern Way in terms of road communication. A number of roads pass through this location including the N-634, the old N-VI and the motorways A-6 and A-8. These road connections position Baamonde at just 15 kilometres from the capital of the province, Lugo and, half an hour from both the costal area of A Mariña and the city of A Coruna.

By bus, the company Arriva makes a stop at this location, with additional connections to Santiago and Ribadeo. For more information consult the website. The airport of A Coruña is 69km away and that of Santiago at 75km.

Correos offers a delivery backpacks service so you can walk without loads and enjoy the routes and stages. You can also purchase a packaging and shipment of bicycles service. The price is 42,03 euros (VAT included, shipping to mainland Spain). This is available in all offices.
