Carrion benefits from having the basic services for pilgrims. Along its urban streets visitors will find supermarkets, shops, banks, cash machines and pharmacies. Pilgrims can obtain information in the centre and in two other places.

In Calle Santiago there is a Tourist and Youth Information Point, open in winter from Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 14.00 hours and during peak season (April to October), Monday to Saturday from 11.00 to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 19.00 and on Sundays from 11.00 to 14.00. Furthermore, in the monastery of San Zoilo is the Centro de Estudios y Documentación Jacobea (See the section on what to see in Carrion). Both here and in the souvenir shop and they sell products for pilgrims, in El Pórtico (located in Plaza Marqués de Santillana, 10) they can buy the credential.
