Pilgrims will have no problem in finding services early in the day. One establishment that opens very early (at 06.00 hours) and is one of the most frequented by pilgrims for breakfast is the bar España, situated on the Jacobean route in Plaza Piña Merino, 2. Nearby, in the Plaza Conde Garay (although not on the pilgrim route) visitors will find Yadira a bakery-cholocatería, offering full breakfasts.

Continuing the route is the cafeteria Los Condes, situated in the Plaza Mayor it opens a little later, around 0800 hours. At lunchtime the majority of establishments offer a pilgrim menu with typical local dishes. There are also an abundance of places serving sandwiches, pizzas and snacks.
