The restaurant Casa Cordón is committed to providing hearty breakfasts. At lunchtime the possibilities are endless, with several establishments offering pilgrim menus, priced around 10 or 11 Euros.
One of the mesons known for providing the best quality for price is Mesón de Castrojeriz, where pilgrims can try some of the specialties of the area, like garlic soup, black pudding and roast baby lamb.
