This enclave of obvious Jacobean taste, in the middle Ages boasted seven hospitals for pilgrims and currently it retains a diversified range of accommodation for pilgrims. Five albergues, two public and three private, and successive hostels, hotels and rural tourist houses increase the possibility of spending the night in this centre.
A curious option, but not the most economic, is to sleep in an old cave house (currently converted into a rural tourist house) located on the slopes of the castle hill. These caves were used as dwellings for several decades. In the case that all accommodation is full the council provides a pavilion for walkers.
