Hostel opened in 2012, in a several centuries old typical Galician countryside house, restored with all luxuries and respecting the ancient stone and wood.
We are at the Camino, 27km from Lugo (300m. after the Roman bridge in Ferreira). It is highly recommended to take the “via romana” at San Román de Retorta (19km from Lugo): despite the fact that this is the actual official route since 2012, it is also shorter and it’s harder to get lost.
We have a bar, terrace, free wifi, central heating, washing and drying facilities, as well as washing machine and dryer.
We offer early breakfast, adapted to the pilgrim’s needed schedule; sandwiches and salads can be ordered from the bar both at lunch and dinner; however, we also offer a communal dinner with salad and sea food paella, along with gaseosa, wine and dessert; we are originally from Eastern Spain, the paella region, so we know how to cook a good paella!
Very convenient to book one or two days in advance on months of high season. We take credit card. We speak English. Nous parlons français.
